Jack Holliday

Year Inducted: 2008

 

 


Jack was the head cross country coach for Beavercreek High School for 38 years. His teams were always one of the top teams in the Miami Valley and won many championships with Jack as the coach. He mentored the distance runners on the track team, always with outstanding class.

He started the New Yearʼs Eve Resolution Run, a special event attracting hundreds of runners and walkers out on the last evening of the year to “run in the new year”.

Coach Hollidayʼs outstanding runners include Kara and Tara Storage, who were state champions and then went on to become two of the top ranked female distance runners in the nation.

Jack is also a member of the Ohio High School Coachʼs Hall of Fame.
