U.D. Men and Women's Cross-Country head coach from 1966-1983 

Numerous national and international coaching assignments including US Team 

Leader at IAAF Women's meet in Dusseldorf 

Co-founder and secretary/treasure of ORRRC from 1966-1969 

Meet director of several national competitions 

Has been an active committee member of several local, state and natinal AAU committees 

Member of Road Runners Club of America finance committee; national AAU Assistant Women's Cross-Country chairperson 

Was part of the original group of runners who began the Dayton River Corridor Classic 

Charter member of DAA- past head of runners recruitment and announcer for many years 

In 1978 was named as one of the top three men who have contributed to long distance running in the US 

In 1978 was named as outstanding age group cross-country coach in the US 

In 1966 he became the head coach and driving force behind the Kettering Striders Track Club which by the late 1970's was the second largest track club in the USA
